St. John’s 35 Clay 14
The Titans were led by QB Brogan Roback who ran for two touchdowns and threw for another, . He ended the game 20-36 for 289 passing yards to help St. John’s improve to 6-1 (3-1) for the season. Clay fell to 1-6 (0-4).
Fremont Ross 35 St. Francis 0
Despite two turnovers in the first half, the Little Giants were able to shut out St. Francis to improve to 5-2 (2-2) for the season. Ross’ defense stopped St. Francis every time and made up for their offensive mistakes. St. Francis is now 2-5 (1-3) for the season.
Central Catholic 51 Lima Senior 6
CC overpowered Lima Senior in a very lopsided game. The Fighting Irish outgained their opponents 536 total yards to 101 total yards. In fact, the Irish had more yards in the air (124) than Lima as a team. Lima Senior scored their only touchdown in the second quarter. The Spartans remained winless against the TRAC at 0-4. They are 1-6 overall. Central Catholic is now 5-2 (3-1).
Player of the Week
St. John’s QB Brogan Roback was responsible for three touchdowns in the team’s 35-14 victory over Clay. He had two rushing touchdowns, one from one yard out and another from five yards out. He also went 20-of-36 for 289 yards and a passing touchdown.
After this week’s performance, Roback is second in the conference in passing yards with 973 for the season. He also has 10 touchdowns and is tied for first with 56 completions in the season.
