Several individuals delivered impressive performances during the 14th annual Knight Relays April 27 at St. Francis de Sales.  Whitmer hurdler Mark Meyers and St. Francis sprinter Wayne Blanchard performed well enough to end up sharing Most Valuable Performer honors for running events.

Meyers took part in four running victories for the Panthers, which included posting a meet-record time of 14.40 to win the 110-meter hurdles. He also ran a leg on Whitmer’s victorious 110-meter shuttle-hurdle relay, 400 relay, and 800 relay teams to help the Panthers claim the team championship with 111 points.
