More than 200 student athletes, coaches, and school administrators gathered on May 4 at Bowling Green State University to officially unveil the Three Rivers Athletic Conference and participate in a conference on sportsmanship. The 10 member schools sent one student athlete representing each TRAC-sponsored sport. These students participated in roundtable discussions by the sport they represent and explored how the new conference can be a model for sportsmanship in Ohio and the country.

The keynote speaker and session leader was Dr. Mike Thomson, author of the “Respect the Game, Respect Yourself” program. The RGRY program is designed to build character and help eliminate sportsmanship, integrity and ethics issues that plague schools and their athletic programs.
