A team from the Three Rivers Athletic Conference nicknamed the Eagles will hoist the OHSAA Division I district softball championship trophy on Friday, May 24.  But this question is…which team will it be? 

The Notre Dame Eagles scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning to knock top-seeded Springfield out of the tournament 6-5.  The Clay Eagles held Sylvania Southview scoreless for a hard-fought 2-0 win.  Both teams played their respective district semifinal games on adjacent fields at Rolf Park in Maumee, Ohio.

Notre Dame and Clay will meet each other for the third time this season for the district title at Rolf Park in Maumee, Ohio at 5:00 p.m.
