Notre Dame Academy’s Lydia Marentette will sign a National Letter of Intent to row at Rutgers University where she plans to study Business with a focus on accounting and finance. “I look forward to making the most out of my college experience by participating in NCAA Rowing and increasing my strength and rowing ability,” she said. “I am excited about being a Rutgers Scarlet Knight and look forward to building relationships with my teammates. I am very thankful for my NDA experience and the academic and athletic opportunities that it provided for my future.”
Ms. Marenette is a member of the NDA Asian Club, an Honors Chinese and Honors Theology student as well as an International Baccalaureate Certificate candidate in math. She has received academic honors, every semester, for the past four years and is a four-year Chinese foreign language student. Ms. Marenette has volunteered and served in the Migrant Ministries Program and Help One Student To Succeed (HOSTS) Program for the past four summers, was a Kidney Foundation Walk volunteer and has been a competitive dancer in multiple dance forms for the past eight years.
