The fifth state Associated Press poll of the 2012-2013 season for Division I boys basketball team was released on February 4, 2013 with St. John’s Jesuit holding onto the No. 5 ranking.  Central Catholic and Whitmer each dropped a spot in the poll but remain ranked in the Top Ten.

St. John’s (15-3 / 9-1 TRAC) continues at the No. 5 position after starting out in the 12th place slot when the first poll of the season was released.

Central Catholic (13-2 / 7-2 TRAC), whose only losses of the season were suffered against Whitmer (39-30) and St. John’s (68-56) dropped to the No. 9 spot from the No. 8 ranking in the current poll.

Whitmer (13-4 / 8-2 TRAC) hangs onto the No. 10 spot in the recent poll.

All three teams continue to battle for leadership in TRAC conference play.
