St. John’s Jesuit’s Rajeev Laungani will continue his education and play tennis for Case Western University where he plans to study Biomedical Engineering. He is captain of the tennis team and has played on the varsity team all four years. Junior year he was TRAC Player of the Year; TRAC Academic Team; Second Team, All State; First Team, All Conference; First Team, All District and First Team, All TRAC. Sophomore year he was Honorable Mention, All State; First Team, All Conference; First Team, All District and First Team, All TRAC. He has been involved with U.S.T.A. for nine years and has been at Nationals the last three years.
He is in the National Honor Society and was an Ignatian Guild Scholar for two years. He has been in the Ambassador Society, a student leadership group that helps at school events. He has been a tutor for Kids Unlimited for four years. He has been part of the SJJ International Christian Service Program serving in Guatemala. He participated in Easter on Campus with a preschoolers and Christmas on Campus with Queen of Apostles and Holy Rosary Schools. He is involved with the Hindu Temple Youth Group.
